Nelson, South Island, New ZealandThe Heaphy Gris is balanced at the edge of off dry as it carves a space for pinot gris inside a sea of sauvignon blanc. The decidedly cool Nelson region is home to this fragrant pear scented white full of ripe, juicy peach and apricot. It's fresh and full flavoured with a robustness that fades into a bright finish. Impressive. The winery thinks it pairs well with a Thai green chicken curry.
