Château Coupe-Roses Naturamania 2022
Minervois, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThe colour is dark red, and the nose is a rush of fresh red and black fruits with a savoury wild underbrush note. The palate is all that and more with a touch of pepper, and light, youthful, dry tannins that are starting to mesh with the rest of the wine. It's a solid, clean, naturally made wine you can drink now, especially with grilled meats. If you like zero intervention wines, this is it. Coupe-Roses hails from La Caunette, a small Minervois village near Montagne Noire, or Black Mountain. The organically farmed vines sit over limestone uplands at 250 and 400m above sea level. The cépage is a mix of cinsault, grenache, syrah, and mourvèdre.
