Champagne Pertois-Lebrun L'extravertie nos Terroirs Blanc de Blancs 7 Crus NV
Côte des Blancs, Champagne, FrancePertois-Lebrun is currently into their 5th generation of vignerons, run by brothers Clément and Antoine. The Pertois family began to produce and market their own Champagne in the early 1900s, but it was only in 1955, following the marriage of Paul Pertois and Françoise Lebrun that the Pertois-Lebrun brand was born.Based on 2020, and with 14% reserve wines, this is GC and 1er Cru CdB fruit from Chouilly, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oiry, Cramant, Oger, Cuis, and Villeneuve. It was fermented in a mix of stainless and oak, spending just under 3 years sur lattes before disgorge in February 2024 with 3 g/L. Bright and shining with a latticework of lemon pith and peel framing a juicy green apple and fine patisserie core, lingering with an ample chalky, saline lick. Great energy and definition here.Tasted: 12 February 2025Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:| ON | $109.00 | 750ml | consignment |
