Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe LS Syrah has been a consistent performer for some time. The Perfect Hedge Vineyard in Osoyoos was the original fruit source, and how it has been augmented with syrah from blocks inside Bull Pine and Bear Cub across the lake to the east. The syrah is cofermented with a small amount of viognier, and it is all aged for 20 months in 41% new French oak and 49% older French barrels. This year, the wine has a fresher undertone and a remarkably smooth, almost silky texture, with a fine mix of blue and red fruit and a hint of jamon.
