Laughing Stock Vineyards Market Darling Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDarling is the first release of a straight cabernet sauvignon released at Laughing Stock. In this case, a small amount of 2022 was made from selecting the best barrels. It has a ripe, sweet smelling nose of cooked blackcurrant and black cherries. The palate is similar, with enough acidity and some sticky tannins yet to shed. It's solid for a first release, but the price is a bit much. The first release of ten barrels or 3000 bottles will be restricted to wine club members and tasting room visitors. The wine was then barrel aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak barrels. The fruit blends grapes from Phantom Creek Vineyard in Oliver, and the Perfect Hedge Vineyard in Osoyoos.Tasted: 27 January 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
