Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandFrom Marlborough's Taylor Pass, this dry farmed pinot noir went into bottle unfiltered, apparent in the hazy cherry hue. Pointedly tart cherry is made more so with an olive tapenade and forest moss note, scented with perfumed cherry blossoms and pomegranate, and sided by a near negligible slip of tannins to a warming flush of a finish.
