Champagne Thierry Fournier Blanc de Blancs 2018
Vallée de la Marne, Champagne, FranceJulien and his brother Maxime took the helm of their family estate in Neuville in Festigny, Vallée de la Marne, in 2020. It was their father, Thierry, who began the winery in 1983. Now the 4th and 5th generation of growers now oversees 45 plots across 11 villages. This BdB comes from their top parcels in Rive Gauche, and was fermented in stainless with full MLF. It was disgorged in December 2022 with 4 g/L. Deep lemon, patisserie, and wet chalk lead this creamy wine, bedded on a healthy bed of fine lees, and scented with cherry blossoms and toast.
