Cecchi La Mora Vermentino 2020
Tuscany, ItalyLa Morra Vermentino is a white wine grown at Maremma on the Tuscan coast, where it experiences a Mediterranean maritime climate. This vermentino that is made in a straightforward fashion. It gets a cold pre-fermentation maceration, and the fermentation takes 15 days at 15°C before spending at least 2 months in the bottle. The colour is a standard, slight yellow, and the nose is a mix of white peaches and yellow plums with fresh mineral on the underside. You can serve this all spring and summer, and it is worth searching out in select private stores.
