Turonia Albariño 2021
Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainPouring a pale gold, this albariño benefits from several years in bottle, revealing notes of dried white flowers, waxed lemon, honeyed peach, and Marcona almonds. It certainly shows the ageworthiness of albariño, and it's likely just entering its peak now. The complex, captivating nose keeps pulling you back in, but it's the energy on the palate that really excites me. There's vervy acidity and a rich, weighty texture even at just 13% abv, with a sapid, mineral finish.Tasted: 03 November 2024Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:QC | $28.95 | 750ml | SAQ |
