Lunessence Cabernet Franc 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI loved the 2021 release, and 2022 is equally impressive. The fruit is even more front and centre this year, and is decidedly red in nature for what is a rare, single varietal release from the southern Okanagan Valley. Fresh red plums, savoury licorice, wet stones, and mineral notes abound in this black cherry and blueberry red, with perfect weight and an alluring chocolate note in the finish. It was fermented and aged in French oak for 15 months using low levels of new oak.
