Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe artisanal or Atelier chardonnay opens with a refreshing citrus lees nose with a mineral underside and brushing of French oak. For lack of a better description, it is more Burgundian than New World on the palate, with a cool green apple entry, and a balanced spare mid-palate with a subtle but richer texture that carries the even from the front to the back of the palate.
