Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, Italy2019 was a powerful vintage in Brunello and one of the very best since 2010. Le Spinaie presents all of the traits of the 2019 vintage: the glass is medium dark, and the nose is intense with a mix of white florals, and red and green fruits. The palate contains deep red and blue fruits led by blueberry compote, raspberries, and exotic orange. It is just a baby, but it will be fun to drink over the next 20 years as you observe its growth in the bottle.
