Lamole di Lamole Lareale Chianti Classico Riserva 2019

Greve, Florence, Tuscany, ItalyThe wine is deep red to black in colour, and its aroma features a delightful floral bouquet accompanied by wild berries and the characteristic savoury hints of underbrush. Rather than being heavy, it presents a fresh and complex mineral character that piques interest. Additionally, vegans will be pleased to know that it pairs wonderfully with oven-baked vegetable dishes. Technically, Lamole di Lamole originates from the commune of Greve. The grapes are cultivated at altitudes ranging from 470 to 655 meters above sea level in sandstone with inserts of galestro (a schistous clay) and alberese (limestone). An optical sorter selects the best berries for the Sangiovese/Canaiolo Nero blend. The wine is then aged in 30-50 hectoliter casks for a minimum of two years before the final blending and bottling.Tasted: 07 November 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
