Hester Creek Syrah 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlways dependable, the surprisingly fine 2022 vintage has helped deliver a delicious drinking style. The fruit is a mix of estate and nearby grower fruit from Oliver and Osoyoos that opens with bold dark blueberries and brambleberries, streaked with spicy meaty notes, and a generous dollop of soft oak tannins. Richer dishes work here, from braised beef or pork to grilled sausage and Portobello mushrooms. The wine is aged 14 months in a 60/40 mix of American and French oak.
