Côte des Blancs, Champagne, FranceFleuron, meaning flagship, was created to capture the spirit of the vintage, and represent the year. In 2019, the blend included 39% Cramant, 36% Chouilly, and 25% Cuis, highlighting the texture of the north of the Côtes des Blancs. As always, this was fermented in stainless, with full MLF. My bottle was disgorged in December 2024 with 3.5 g/L. Green apple, meringue, toast, and a kiss of anise fills the complete palate, with vibrant lemon acidity streaking this through the lingering chalky, saline finish. Very complete at this point, and certainly with time ahead.Tasted: 05 November 2025Tasted by: Prices:

It was disgorged in October 2023 with 5 g/L. Smoked stone, crisp green apple, deep chalk and a lemon latticework are woven throughout a very fine, long, lacy finish. Quite smart, drinking beauty now and in future, and a lovely fingerprint for 2019.Tasted: 29 November 2024Tasted by: Prices:
