Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe Gaspare Vineyard sits inside the Oak Knoll District AVA of Napa Valley and traditionally yields a rich, opulent style of cabernet. It was a challenging vintage that meant lower yields and smoke issues for many, but on the valley floor of Napa, most wineries picked between the two big fires, avoiding the worst smoke that came in late September with the Glass fire. Right out of the gate, the Gaspare label offers pure black fruits, an amalgam of savoury dried rosemary, baking spices, and toasted oak.
