O Rosal, Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainFrom the Rías Baixas O Rosal region, this blends 40 year old vines of trellised albariño, along with splashes of loureiro and treixadura from the area's sandy, alluvial, river stone laden soils. The grapes were fermented separately in stainless, with albariño and loureiro receiving additional time on lees before blending. There's a lovely generosity to this medium bodied (12.5%) white, with green fig, perfumed white peach, quince, and fine, buzzy granitic spice that carries this long on the palate, finishing with a bitter anise kiss.
