South Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCedarCreek strongly focuses on the north Okanagan, and this sauvignon blanc is an excellent example of where they are headed under the newly minted South Kelowna Slopes sub-GI. Frankly, most people sipping this wine would peg it for a top quality New Zealand version (save for the price) replete with rich passionfruit and intense grassy, lime, and gooseberry. The acid is one step down from New Zealand, adding even more appeal to what is a terrific food wine and one I would suggest is the perfect match for mussels or Dungeness crab.
