CedarCreek Platinum Haynes Creek Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe ’22 vintage in the Okanagan began cool and wet but finished warm and dry late in the fall, allowing grapes like cabernet franc to reach full phenolic ripeness. The cool start allowed for slightly lower alcohol levels, which appear to have enhanced the final version, which, in standard years, would be richer and warmer in style. Expect enticing, savoury ripe black plums, black currants, and cassis, all with a touch of desert scrub and dried herbs. The medium weight palate exudes a long, silky texture that pulls you into the wine. The tannins are perfectly ripe and dense, balanced by a bright acid. Friendly, attractive, and well made, this is a winner. Only sold to club members. The fermentation is performed in concrete using organic fruit and yeats. It spends 13 months in French oak.Tasted: 09 October 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
