Phantom Creek Estates Kobau Vineyard Cuvée 2020
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI have tasted this wine several times, and with each passing year, it continues to improve. The PC Cuvée originates from Kobau Vineyard, situated along the west side of the Okanagan Valley's Golden Mile Bench. This vineyard predominantly faces south, benefiting from the gentle morning sun and is shielded from the intense afternoon heat. The wine exhibits a pleasing combination of savoury black fruit, complemented by desert sagebrush, spice, and an abundance of French oak. Rich, warm, and opulent, the palate reveals brambleberries, dark plums, cedar, and hints of new oak, all enhanced by a touch of freshness from avoiding the late-day sun. This wine can be easily enjoyed through 2030.
