Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWith 68% of the grapes from the Home Vineyard and the rest from Freestone Vineyard near Gallagher Lake, this textured chardonnay was aged for six months in 26% new French oak, 34% neutral oak, and 40% stainless steel barrels (300L). The stainless steel brings a pure edge to the nose, which features pear, quince, and mandarin with a touch of nutmeg and lees. The acidity is slightly soft yet fresh, making a creamy mid-palate with a refined, textured mouthfeel.
