Jean Max Beaujolais Saint-Germain 2022

Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceFrom Saint-Germain's calcareous soils, this was carbonically macerated and native fermented over 3 weeks, before resting in barrels for 10 months. It was bottled without additional sulphur. Light and diaphanous in hue, this very fragrant, slight Bojo charms with wildflowers, perfumed plum, wild raspberry, and pithy pink grapefruit. Tannins are whisper weight, and acidity is easily lofted, taking this to a subtly peppery finish. Joyous and light.Tasted: 26 September 2024Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
