Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAn early look at the 2023 Heritage Pinot Gris, which is always a luscious style with bright tropical fruit and plenty of freshness. It looks like a rosé, but it is a pinot gris, and a couple of hours of skin contact leads to its light copper colour. The palate is round and full of tropical fruit that takes it to the edge of dryness. The latest gris is a mix of Naramata fruit grown at Dickinson, Howe, and Paisley Vineyards aged sur lie in 265L Tokaij barrels for six months.
