Blue Mountain Estate Cuvée Pinot Noir 2022
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere is magic in the soil at Blue Mountain, and as the vines age, they are now 15-16-year-old vines, you can only expect more, which is considerable. I love the wild berry fruit, reminiscent of cherries and strawberries, with a hint of earth and forest floor that gives a subtle gravitas. That said, it is so drinkable that consumers flock to this style. It’s not the same height as the single vineyard offerings, but neither is the price. What it is is a high-value pinot selling at a bargain price.Tasted: 18 November 2024Tasted by: Prices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
