Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMer'r'iym White Meritage has been one of the best Canadian white blends for a while, and 2022 is no exception. The current blend is 87/13 sauvignon blanc / sémillon, as bright and fresh as ever. The attack has a beautiful floral and herbal quality, bright acidity, passionfruit, lemongrass, and honey notes. The finish is extended and creamy with pear and pineapple highlights. The sémillon is barrel fermented and spends four months in new French oak, adding some weight and tempering the acidity that gives so much life to the wine.
