Monte Creek Living Land Series Organic Rosé 2023
Thompson Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMonte Creek has released its latest organic rosé, a deeper pink colour. Tangerine and pomelo with a dusting of spice, it's fresh and well made, with just enough residual sugar to smooth out the fresh, lean finish. It is definitely a food wine. Think salmon sashimi or salmon sushi rolls. It is affordable compared to many other BC options. Living Land Rosé is Thompson Valley marquette grown on scudetto soil, primarily composed of mineral particles that form a thick mantle of lake sediments over volcanic bedrock. The winemaking is simple: grapes are pressed before fermenting and aged for five months in stainless steel.
