Lightning Rock Reserve Pinot Noir 2019
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Reserve label is one of several Lightning Rock pinots released in 2019. It comes from Summerland’s Canyonview Vineyard, seated over sandy, granite studded soils. The vines were 16 years old in 2019, and the wine is at the perfect moment to open in 2024. It is wild fermented and super juicy, with electric cherry and raspberry, bright acidity, and an alluringly smooth texture streaked with earthy and forest floor.
