Lightning Rock Pinot Noir Rosé Elysia Vineyard 2023
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the dark side of pinot noir rosé, this single vineyard Elysia is about as nonstandard as they come. The nose is decidedly herbaceous with green shrub. The fruit is primarily carbonic in style, with cranberry, forest berries, and thorny blackberries, with some bitter notes in a high acid finish. It's an outlier rosé for sure and not one for the timid.
