Lightning Rock Canyonview Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOne of two Pinot Noirs released by Lightning Rock in 2022, this is from Canyonview Vineyard's sandy and granite studded soils, planted in 2003 to 1155 and 667 clones. This was native fermented in tank (40% whole cluster) before heading to neutral oak barriques for 10 months' rest. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Perfumed raspberry, juicy cherry courses across the softer, cushioned palate, with finely rasped tannins framing, and a lick of perfumed lavender on the lingering finish.
