Doña Paula Estate High Altitude Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Mendoza, ArgentinaThis is a much different animal than a California cabernet. It blends cabernet sauvignon from vineyards in Gualtallary and El Cepillo in Uco Valley, where stones and minerals rule. Slim and savoury, with a juicy red currant and cassis mid-palate, it runs along to the finish, energized by the acidity. If there are tannins here, they are seamless. You can drink this now or through 2027.
