Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThe latest Charme de L'île reflects the evolution Blue Grouse has been undertaking since being purchased by the Jackson Family group of wineries. This latest iteration of a truly Wine Islands wine blends pinot noir, gamay, and pinot gris from across the island, fermented in stainless before heading to the charmat tanks for a secondary ferment. It is left with 10 g/L RS. A blushing peach hue, this lightly frizzante wine streams early raspberry, wild strawberry along the brief palate, with tart cranberry acidity clipped with a bitter citrus twist at the finish.
