Black Hills Per Se 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe transformation of Per Se is complete under winemaker Ross Wise, giving it more of Right Bank bent with even more savoury Bolgheri styling in 2022, yet leaving it undeniably a south Okanagan blend. The wine is entirely cabernet franc this year for the first time. It opens with floral aromatic notes, including black cherries and brambly fruit with an herbal underside. On the palate, it is very pleasing black and red fruited, with polished tannins and sleek delivery. Drink or hold, no rush here.Tasted: 06 August 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
