Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Sunnydale Vineyard on the Saanich Peninsula, the vines are located on the sedimentary slopes of Mount Newton. The onion skin colour is beautiful, as it is neutral French oak fermentation. It rests for four months before bottling. The palate is once again taut with vibrant fresh wild berries permeating a stony mineral base with a saline undercurrent. I love that there is no pandering here to sugar, making this a classic rosé for grownups.Tasted: 21 July 2024Tasted by: Prices:
Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Sannich's Sunnydale Vineyard, this dry pinot noir rosé comes from the sedimentary slopes of Mount Newton. After fermentation in neutral French oak, it rests for 4 months before bottling. Sleek, lean, and light, this streams wild strawberries and tart raspberries over a slick of lees and river stones, with lifted marine acidity finishing with a gentle pink peppercorn rasp. At 11.9%, a good example of coastal crisp rosé.Tasted: 06 July 2024Tasted by: Prices:
