Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe second Sister Series wine is named after winemaker and co-owner Matt Mikulic's eldest sister, Katarina, and is Naramata Bench chardonnay. Following protocol, only the best barrels were selected and in the end, now nine years down the road, it is showing some remarkable youth. The nose is a highly atrractive yeasty, graham cracker affair with pineapple and honey uindertones. The palate is round and lush with sweet orange, pinjeapple, and peach that belies its age, with a dusting of baking spice in the finish.
