In 2014, Emily was released and named after the eldest sister. As the years passed, the hardworking couple waited to release the following Sister Series labels when the harvest warranted. Abigail, Rebecca’s oldest sister, joined the Sister’s Series in 2016 with a syrah that was 24 months in new French oak, and at eight years of age, it is just beginning to blossom. Dark and brooding, packed full of plums and chocolate, it has all the meaty and reductive notes of syrah that cry out for 30-45 minutes of decanting. Once aired out, you can enjoy its power and savoury, peppery fruit that rides a wave of silky tannins long into the finish.
