Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainMaria Rigol Ordi is a 5th generation family of Cava makers since 1897, based in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. This organic rosat is entirely pinot noir, grown at the foot of the Serra de Font-Rubí, in the Mas Moió vineyards in Guardiola de Font-rubí, at 395m and rooted in deep loam soils. This is from the 2022 vintage, and was disgorged March 2024 with 0 dosage. Burnished cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry rules the textural palate, skipping along a river stone base, kissed with anise, and finishing with a bergamot twist.
