Established in 1749 in the heart of Sancerre, Domaine Fouassier is one of the oldest wine growing families in the Loire Valley with a history that spans 10 generations. This sauvignon blanc is certified organic and biodynamically farmed, from 35 year old vines grown on a 3.15ha plot of clay soils with flint and marls, native fermented. Crushed stones are layered with pear skin, lime pith, white grapefruit, and wild green herbs run long on the taut palate, mouthwatering, finishing with a lingering salinity.
