Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis blanc de noir, made from pinot noir grown at Stoneridge Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, spent 30 months on the lees and was finished with a 9 g/L riesling dosage. It opens with vivid notes of red berries, raspberry and strawberry, layered over a citrus and pomme fruit core, with subtle toasty undertones and a hint of spice. The palate is structured and focused, showing depth without the phenolic bitterness often found in blanc de noirs. A tight line of acidity anchors the wine, harmonizing with the fine mousse and dosage to maintain balance and precision.
