Garnet Valley Ranch Chardonnay 2022
Garnet Valley, Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOff their organic and spectacular Garnet Valley Ranch estate, with blocks sitting between 600-680m, this was whole cluster pressed and native fermented in concrete, and aged in a mix of concrete and stainless. Quite textural, with a crushed stone underlay basing a savoury, medium bodied palate of lemon, green apple, wild sage, woven with reduction, and finishing with a trail of flake salts. Really impressive, this wine has entirely come into its own, and is just starting out.
