Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFree From is a certified organic riesling grown in Summland at Garnet Valley Ranch, a 300+hectare, high-altitude property planned and executed by Chris Coletta and Steve Lornie, wine visionary David Scholefield, along with superstar consultants Chilean Pedro Parra, and Italian Alberto Antonini. The property is currently under the care of viticulturist Duncan Billing and winemaker Matt Dymayne, and the riesling is thriving. In 2022, a prolific crop turned out what looks to be another winner. It’s packed with minerals and Okanagan desert scrub scents that set the stage for a mouthwatering, electric, citrus palate, pitching lemons and wet stones in a taut, balanced, bone dry package. This is not a sipper. It is a wine made for food.
