LebanonFrom a western Bekaa site at 1050m elevation, this old vine carignan was fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeast and aged for 2 years in the same. It begins with a slightly reserved profile that evolves into a sumptuous red. Raspberry, red plum, fresh fig, and dark cherry merge with dusty earthiness and hints of dried lavender. The fruit, both fleshy and pure, integrates seamlessly with savoury rustic notes.
