Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their estate Noble Ridge vineyard in Okanagan Falls, this blends 72% chardonnay (clones 76 and 95) with 28% pinot noir (clones 115 and 777). This spends 47 months sur lattes prior to disgorge with 6 g/L. Bitter almond, red apple, and pie crust rule this up-front bottling, with a tart lemon acidity to lift through a dry, snappy mandarine twist finish. A bit rustic, but should suit bigger protein canapés. Drinking now.Tasted: 03 October 2025Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe One is an Okanagan Falls sparkler grown at the 13.7 hectare Noble Ridge Vineyard. It is roughly a two-thirds/one-third chardonnay (clones 76 and 95) / pinot noir (clones 115 and 777) blend. The fruit is gently whole cluster pressed and aged en tirage for 40+ months. The extra time on lees is the key to this wine’s complexity and inviting creamy brioche notes, but in the end, it is the saline, citrus, green apple, and stony notes that elevate this wine, putting it among some of the best sparklers made in BC. It will also age effortlessly through 2027.Tasted: 22 May 2024Tasted by: Prices:
