Noble Ridge The One Grand Reserve Brut 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis traditional method sparkler from Okanagan Falls opens with layered aromas of baked apple, Bartlett pear, pie crust, and a touch of cinnamon spices and aged hard cheese. It’s made from 78% chardonnay and 22% pinot noir picked at 18 brix. It shows good development at this stage, carried by a firm line of bright acidity. The dosage sits at only 2.5 g/L, yet it doesn’t come across as austere. Extended lees aging for 66 months, along with further time in bottle after disgorgement, adds creamy richness and well integrated savoury notes through the finish. It’s a serious wine that highlights both the region’s fruit and the winemaker’s deft touch.Tasted: 08 November 2025Tasted by: Prices:
