Nuits-Saint-Georges, Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceThis is a strong showing for the village Nuits-St-Georges from Louis Latour, benefiting from an excellent, ripe 2020 vintage. Dense and brooding, it opens with a litany of sweet spices balanced by sappy dark cherries and black raspberries. There's a real freshness and drive to the palate, both pure and mineral, with fine grained, structured tannins that are polished and approachable now, yet will allow it to continue improving over the next 5-7 years.
