Ventoux, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceLe Petit Chat Malin has been around for over a decade and has sold for more or less the same price since it entered the market. The nose is inviting with rose petals and strawberry, although the palate falls short. Still, this is it for an everyday patio pink that can sustain large parties and not kill your pocketbook. It has the acidity to shine with food, so it is a winner for the price. Try this with spaghetti Vongole, sauteed prawns, or Dungeness crab.
