Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Naramata Bench's iconic King Family Vineyard, this merlot comes off 40 year old vines, and was native fermented in concrete. Perfumed blackberry, wild plum, boysenberry floods the juicy, joyous palate, with finely sticky tannins framing the sides, and drawing this to a gently spiced finish. I love merlot that reminds of a big bear hug, and this does in spades.
