Côtes du Rhône Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceLes Coteaux is a mix of the best grenache and syrah from across the 17 named Côtes du Rhône Villages. It is mostly unoaked, with a small proportion (20%) aged for 22 months in mostly older oak barrels to add depth and complexity. The style is soft and Boutinot charming, but there is some lively fresh, red fruit, licorice, and spice that penetrates a peppery, smoky, savoury, garrigue back end.
