Bartier Bros. Sauvignon Blanc Desert Wolf Vineyard 2023
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis leads with desert shrubs, placing you on the Black Sage Terrace, alongside tangerine, white grapefruit, and lees. It's not overly complex, with a more restrained character to the palate, chalky and textured, with more than ample dry extract to balance the crisp acidity. Well made and honest.Tasted: 28 September 2024Tasted by: Prices:

Bartier Bros. Sauvignon Blanc Desert Wolf Vineyard 2023
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Oliver's Desert Wolf Vineyard, on the Black Sage Terrace, this sb was whole cluster pressed, inoculated, and fermented over 3 weeks before remaining 4 months in stainless, sans lees. Tart tangerine, white grapefruit streaks across the zesty palate, with a dusting of desert sage scrub before the snappy finish. Bright, fresh, and fun for cracking into now.Tasted: 19 August 2024Tasted by: Prices:

Bartier Bros. Sauvignon Blanc Desert Wolf Vineyard 2023
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA new wine from Bartier that showcases the best of his winemaking style. It has the fresh, zingy, clean fruit he is famous for, with an extra touch of ripeness that softens the style. Think less New Zealand and more Sancerre. Look for grapefruit and white peaches with a splash of sweet, Golden Delicious apples. The finish is long and full of mineral notes, suggesting it will be a food-friendly choice. Seafood or vegetable fritters all work here. The wine spends four months in stainless steel but gets no lees contact. The Desert Wolf Vineyard is planted over sandy loam topsoil on mainly granite glacial till.Tasted: 31 May 2024Tasted by: Prices:
