Aconcagua Costa, Valle de Aconcagua, Region de Aconcagua, ChileAconcagua Costa is a cool climate valley off Chile's west coast that sits only 12 kilometres from the cold Pacific. It is teeming with freshness, bright acidity, ample minerality, and a surprising amount of citrus, lemongrass, grapefruit, and lemon zest, dusted in dried herbs. Shellfish, crab cakes, sushi, pesto pasta and more all work in this solid sauvignon blanc. I have said it before: this delicious wine is of significant value and should be stacked to the ceiling in retail stores.
