River Stone Sparkling White Merlot 2023
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis simple, carbonated merlot sparkler comes off their estate River Rock vineyard, in Oliver. A few hours on skins imparted the deep peach pink hue, along with a subtle grip. Smoked strawberries, red apple on a creamy (7 g/L RS) palate is clipped with a bitter cherry snap on the finish. Minimal bubbles here, more just a light effervescence which fades quickly in the glass.
